TTK Testing PC Controls

Last updated: 2026-06-21

TTK Testing is a tactical first-person shooter on Roblox developed by Sable Digital, built around deliberate gunplay, time-to-kill testing, and grounded movement. Before you drop into FFA or structured modes, learning the default PC bindings saves deaths to mis-clicks and slow weapon swaps. Launch the experience at TTK Testing on Roblox.

This page documents the official default keyboard and mouse controls reported for the current public build. Rebind support may expand during early access; if settings menus add customization, we will note changes here and on Tools Settings when available.

Default PC control scheme

These bindings are the baseline most PC players see on first launch:

Action Default input
Fire Left Mouse Button (M1)
Aim / ADS Right Mouse Button (M2)
Adjust aim / fine aim Middle Mouse Button (M3)
Crouch C
Lean left Q
Lean right E
Swap weapon (slot) Number keys 1–9 (weapon-dependent)
Swap weapon (cycle) Mouse scroll wheel

Movement follows standard Roblox FPS expectations: W A S D to move, Space to jump where enabled, and Shift to sprint if the current mode allows it. Always verify sprint in the lobby — some test maps disable it for realism.

Combat controls in detail

Fire (M1) sends rounds according to the active fire mode (semi, burst, or auto depending on weapon). Tap for precision semi-auto rifles; hold for automatic weapons where supported. Recoil and time-to-kill vary by caliber — see Weapons for per-gun behavior.

Aim (M2) enters aim-down-sights when the equipped weapon supports optics or iron sights. ADS typically reduces movement speed and tightens spread. Pair ADS with crouch for stable long-range shots on maps like those listed under Maps.

Adjust aim (M3) is a finer control layer used in TTK Testing for subtle sight alignment or hold-to-adjust behaviors depending on weapon setup. Players coming from other tactical titles should spend a few minutes in a private server testing M3 on each rifle they main.

Crouch (C) lowers your hitbox profile and steadies aim at the cost of mobility. Crouch before peeking doorways on close-quarters maps; combine with lean for safer angles.

Lean Q / E shifts your camera and muzzle slightly around cover without fully exposing your body. Lean is essential on the Institute-style layouts and any map with tight corridors. For peeking discipline, read Lean and Peek Guide when available.

Weapon swap

Number keys jump to specific loadout slots when the mode grants multiple weapons. Not every early-access lobby fills all nine slots; empty slots ignore input.

Scroll wheel cycles weapons in slot order. Many players prefer scroll for panic swaps after shotgun engagements and numbers for planned primary-to-secondary transitions. Practice both so muscle memory survives stress in FFA.

Attachments change handling — heavier optics may slow ADS. After swapping, allow a beat for the animation before firing.

Settings and sensitivity

Roblox mouse sensitivity is controlled partly by the platform and partly by in-experience settings if Sable Digital exposes them. Start near default, then adjust in small steps. Extremely high sensitivity hurts lean peeking and M3 fine aim. Document your DPI and in-game slider on Tools Settings for consistency across sessions.

Early access disclaimer

TTK Testing remains in active development. A patch can rebind defaults or add toggle-vs-hold options without wide announcement. If your controls differ from this table, check patch notes on Roadmap Updates and report discrepancies in official community channels so we can update this wiki.

Quick warm-up drill

  1. Join a low-population server.
  2. Fire a full magazine at a wall in semi and auto modes.
  3. Practice Q/E peeks on a corner without over-exposing.
  4. Swap primary to secondary with scroll and with number keys.
  5. Crouch-ADS a distant target using M2 and fine-tune with M3.

Five minutes of drills aligns your hands with TTK Testing's deliberate pace better than rushing straight into spawn fights.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the default fire key in TTK Testing?
Left Mouse Button (M1) fires your equipped weapon using its current fire mode.
How do I aim down sights?
Hold Right Mouse Button (M2) while a sight or optic is available on your weapon.
What does Middle Mouse Button (M3) do?
M3 adjusts aim in a finer layer — useful for subtle alignment after entering ADS. Test per weapon in a private server.
How do I lean in TTK Testing?
Press Q to lean left and E to lean right while behind cover. Pair with crouch (C) for safer peeks.
How do I switch weapons on PC?
Use number keys for direct slots or the mouse scroll wheel to cycle. Available slots depend on the current game mode.
Do mobile players use the same controls?
No. Touch layouts differ significantly. See [Mobile Controls](/controls/mobile/) for buttons, gestures, and limitations.
